Rural tourism consists of attending agricultural-cattle raising activities living together for a moment or several days with people that carry out these tasks as a way of life. It is an approach to the folk tradition of work in the country.
Most of the operators of rural tourism are found in Buenos Aires and Patagonia. There are also establishments in the northwest, northeast and center of the country. Each area presents differentiated characteristics for this type of tourism, related to the rural environment and the dimensions, architecture and gastronomy of the establishments.
There are several services for this type of tourism. From the lodging in ranchos and tours in carriages, to the participation in activities of daily work of the field, as the milk and cereal production, and equine, bovine, ovine and goat cattle raiser among others. Never a barbecue, the homemade bread, sweet or patties had such a fresh and recently elaborated flavor, free of preservatives and not natural seasonings.
