| Close to Route E-53 there is a place with mountains, quarries and streams where there exist villages such as El Manzano, El Sauce, Agua de Oro and Villa Cerro Azul. Agua de Oro encloses San Vicente Ferrer Church dating from mid-eighteen century. Around this church the village developed (visit hours: Monday to Friday : from 5 PM to 7 PM). Two kilometers away, by Route E-53 we find an iguana farm. If you travel along the mountain paths, visit the caves around the village and the banks of the river you will enjoy the beautiful landscape. |

Agua de Oro fue construida sobre las antiguas tierras habitadas por el cacique Ani-Mi y su tribu. Esta localidad se alza sobre los márgenes del río que lleva su nombre.
Entre las serranías pobladas de talas, algarrobos y olmos, esta localidad nace primero con el nombre de Paso de las Vacas, ya que era utilizada como el punto clave para el traspaso de los ganados que pastoreaban a la vera de su río.
Debido a la antigüedad de su origen, guarda entre sus calles las huellas de una historia centenaria desarrollada en torno a la Iglesia de San Vicente Ferrer que es la más antigua de la región, destaca un campanario de particular estilo arquitectónico.
