Cruz Chica is found in Punilla Valley and can be appreciated as part of a mountain circuit that goes from La Cumbre up to Los Cocos, passing by Cruz Chica and Cruz Grande. It is a corridor among nearby hills with exuberant vegetation.
This circuit can be carried out by a provincial road paved. It is observed in it old stately mansions. Some of them continue inhabited; others have been turned into inns and museums.
In Cruz Chica we can visit big houses like "La Fonda de Cruz Chica". This construction dates from 1930 and at present has been recycled and adapted as an inn. Another visit you cannot miss is the House of Mujica Lainez "El Paraiso", today turned into a museum. "El Alcazar de Sevilla" is another old large house known as mansion "Sevilla", which at present is a first category guesthouse. There can be visited other large houses named after places of Spain.
If we continue along Camino del Pungo, which takes us to Ascochinga, we pass by the Farm El Rosario, famous due to its alfajores (a kind of caramel sandwich cookies), and jams; to arrive then to San Jerónimo reservoir.
