This region is formed by the departments of Santa Rosa, La Paz, San Martin, Rivadavia, Junín, Maipú and the east part of Luján de Cuyo. It has circuits with a succession of modern wineries, farms, ranchos, fields and industries that identify it. It is complemented by typical food and craft jam and canned food, festivals and native shows, regional crafts.
In Santa Rosa we can visit the Protected Area of Ñacuñán that harbors a forest of carob trees in recovery. In Rivadavia, the Reservoir El Carrizal is the most visited water mirror of the province. El Carrizal is the spot for summer meeting shared by Rivadavia and Luján de Cuyo with activities of camping, water skiing, resorts, windsurfing, sailing and sports fishing. Rivadavia is also known by its festival "Rivadavia Canta al Pais" that honors to the national folk tradition during the summer.
Junín has to show us the Museum of the Historic Solar Molino Orfila, a complex that has the historic solar, the chapel San Cayetano, the flour mill and the winery. There we can appreciate each April the Footstep of the Grape with the presence of the queens of the Grape Harvest. In San Martin we cannot miss the Museum of Las Bovedas, one of the last residences that General San had Martin in the country.
