Inti Huasi Cave
Following the provincial route #39, after Pampa del Tamboreo we arrive at the Inti Huasi Cave. Its name stems from a Quechua voice that means "house of the sun" and is located in the hill of 1710 meters above the sea level that carries its same name. 8,000 years ago, this cavern was inhabited by nomad native groups that moved seasonally from the high saws to the valleys to obtain their food. The important finds of bony pieces and arrows tips in this cavern made possible an approximation to the Ayampitin culture, descendant of the first settler current of our continent.
