Moconá Falls (Saltos del Moconá) are in the southwest side of San Pedro Department, 250 km from Posadas, the Capital City of Misiones. It has been zoned ¨Provincial Park¨.
In Guarani language it means ¨swallowing everything¨.
It is 3 km long, with hundreds of falls, some of them 20 m high.
Here, you can drive a four-wheel drive vehicle, take part in survival activities in the rain forest, ride a horse, do hikking, drive a jeep, do canoeing, and rafting across the fastflowing streams.
Flora and fauna can be viewed going along the paths. To get in touch with the aboriginal population is the best way to understand, respect and learn about other cultures.
