Salsipuedes is one of the villages located in the Sierras Chicas corridor, 36 km from the city of Córdoba, on Provicial Route E-53.
It is a mountain village with its own attractions: air, sun and mountain life.
The river with the same name rises in the link with El Cuadrado circuit –linking the place with La Falda- and is the source of a waterfall 17 m high known as Salto La Estancita.
Its bed winds between tree-covered landscapes, the riverside road, resorts and the campground and flows into Santo Domingo Lagoon. There are three natural resorts: Villa Los Altos, Bello Horizonte and Centro.
From the Municipal Tourism Office at the bus terminal start four tourist circuits: Villa Silvina: Mirador, Virgen de Itatí Cave, handicrafts, meteorological observatory and organic orchards.
Center: business center, resort and riverside road.
Bello Horizonte: (El Cuadrado ): Resort, campground, aromatic herbs plantation, Salto La Estancita and the craftmen´s path.
El Pueblito: Virgen del Valle Cave (natural viewpoint), Bees Museum, El Nido Laboratory (medicinal herbs) and wood crafts.
Guided by professionals you can do hikking, rides, canoeing, etc .
In summer, there are outdoor shows, street folk clubs, puppet theater and craft fair in Belgrano Square, on Sundays.
How to arrive: By Provincial Route E-53 beyond Córdoba International Airport. 32 km along this route you will find Río Ceballos and 4 km ahead Salsipuedes. Toll: 500 m beyond the airport, $ 1. By Provincial Route E-57: from Córdoba to Villa Allende, Unquillo and Río Ceballos. |

Más de 400 años han pasado desde que el Capitán Juan De Burgos dejara sentado como último deseo en su testamento que la Estancia Salsipuedes fuera administrada por sus descendientes.
A Juan de Burgos se le atribuye el origen del nombre sal - si - puedes, que naciera por una ocurrencia en 1584 cuando la belleza del lugar, los ancones de su río y las quebradas en las montañas lo hicieron exclamar “sal… si… puedes… de este lugar tan hermoso”.
En estas tierras, su propietario y sus sucesores construyeron una estancia y huerta con una variada producción de hortalizas, frutales y tabaco. Ellos tuvieron la dificultosa tarea de construir obras de derivación y canalización de las aguas del río, con el fin de poner en funcionamiento los dos molinos harineros.
