San Clemente lies on the southeast foothills of Sierras Grandes. It is a village full of peace thanks to the communion of landscape, colors and the scent of mountain herbs that can be collected in this place.
It is a typical quiet town that invites the tourist to find out its past. Las Tazanas stream, for example, encloses the remainings of settlements of Comechingones, the early inhabitants of Calamuchita Valley.
This is witnessed by the mortars or conanas remaining in the stones of said stream. This village was also a relay of the Royal Way and, by Cuesta de Argel, Priest Brochero used to go from Córdoba to Traslasierra Valley.
One of the main attractions in the place is trout fishing. The Córdoba Trucha Club has a salmon hatchery in the village. In addition, with the cooperation of Agencia Córdoba Ambiente a program to sow salmonids in Sur, Condorito, San José, San Pedro and Los Espinillos Rivers.
You can do adventure sports here: mountain bike, trekking, rides, fishing and diving underwater among others.
How to reach the place: by Provincial Route 5: From Córdoba to Alta Gracia (39 km), from here to Villa Ciudad de América (25 km), turn right and beyond Potrero de Garay (5 km) you arrive at San Clemente (20 km). Total distance: 89 km. The last 25 km along a well-kept track, on the left bank of Los Molinos Lake.

By Bosque Alegre: from Córdoba by the highway to Villa Carlos Paz and then the interchange to Falda del Carmen; from there, turn west by Provincial Route E-96 to Estación Terrena de Bosque Alegre (Bosque Alegre´s Ground Station). Turn southwards by a dirty road (20 km). Total distance: 70 km.
