The Saws of Buenos Aires interrupt the immense plain and mark their presence in the endless green field. The Mountain Systems of Tandilia and Ventania are raised on the Pampa with round peaks of easy climbing.
The saws add to Buenos Aires province the natural attraction that was missing after the cities, the pampas and the coast. Besides spiritual, cultural, natural attractions, the saws add adventure sports just a step away from the main cities.
The Saws of La Ventana (ventania system) are called thus due to a natural opening that is observed in the top of one of its main hills. They extend from Puan in the northwest to Indio Rico in the southeast. Tres Picos Hill is emphasized in the whole mountain range.
The Saws of Tandilia begin in Olavarría and end in the coast of the party General Pueyrredón, where the mountain practically unites with the sea. There are emphasized hills like El Calvario and El Centinela.
The Saws of Buenos Aires contact us with nature by means of the practice of kayak, rappel, trekking, horse ridding, paragliding, hang gliding, parachuting, mountain bike and 4x4. There are also calmer but not less exciting activities like photographic safaris, sports fishing of silver smelt and bird-watching.
The most recognized localities of Saws of Buenos Aires are Tandil, Tornquist, Balcarce, Colonel Suarez, Azul and Olavarría.
