From the Tourist Office towards San Carlos of Bariloche, 3 kilometers are traveled and is taken (to the left) the provincial route 66 (rubble) which journey of 6 kilometers offers us splendid and various pans views of La Angostura Village, such us the bays of Cumelén, Las Balsas, Manzano Port, and Peninsula of Quetrihué among others.
Bayo Hill can be visited during all the year round, but is turned into the greater attraction during winter. It is the ideal place where are carried out recreational and sports events for people with different levels of experience, from experts to beginners. Competences of skiing, snowboard, with and without obstacles, skiing rally, descended of torches, etc.
In summer and autumn it is perfect to carry out trekking and mountain bike. During these seasons are carried out national competences of Enduro, Mountain Bike, Paragliding and Hang -gliding.
This center of skiing arises in 1973 as a project of the settlers of the village. The base of the center is located at1050 meters above the sea level and is 9 kilometers away from the business district of the Village. It comprises 4 double chairlifts, 5 teleskis T-BAR 1 teleski(which are kinds of draglift), and Baby -Lifts. The capacity of ski lift is of 4500 skiers per hour and allows the use of 20 kilometers of ski slopes and roads, as well as back country ski, in an extension of 200 hectares, which slopes are covered with forests make possible for the lovers of the snowboard to surf in deep snow.
