Viewpoint of Bervedere Hill and Inacayal Waterfall: the waterfall and the viewpoint share the same access road. They are two classical attractions of the natural environment of the mountain. To gain access to it we travel 1 kilometer along Cacique Atriao Street up to the starting point of the ascent to the two attractions located to the right. Around 700 meters ahead there is an indicative sign. The road is sinuous and of pronounced slopes, that is why we should drive carefully. 1000 meters away is a fork. The path of the left takes us to the waterfall and that of the right to the viewpoint, place where ends the road for cars.
Once in the viewpoint, the view pan is fantastic. In close-up, we can observe Correntoso Lake, a water mirror of 27 squared kilometers, and Correntoso River, that connects the homonymous lake with Nahuel Huapi. On the horizon we distinguish the Mountain Range that borders with Chile, being emphasized, among others, Macal hills, Dormilon Hill, Tres Hermanas Hill, Pantojo Hill, Rincon Hill, Titlis or Matus Hill, and Campana Hill. Nahuel Huapi Lake and three of its seven branches are also seen: Machete and Rincon, very appreciated by fishermen of salmon in each season, and the branch Ultima Esperanza. To complement the picture, we can see Correntoso Hotel, first hotel for tourist of this region built in 1924.
Inacayal Waterfall: From the viewpoint, the hike to the waterfall takes about an hour. This tour can be carried out all the year round, but in winter the snow can cover the path, and because of this it is advisable to hire a guide.
The incorporation of guides to the tour will offer you security and knowledge to about the spots. You can learn about indigenous flora and fauna and to appreciate with other eyes the natural landscape. From the Tourist Office this experience takes between 5 and 6 hours.
