Two names characterize these thermal springs. One of them it is Lahuen Co that in Araucanian means miraculous water. The other is Termas of Epulafquen referring to the homonymous lake located close to them.
In the heart of the National Park Lanín, in an area where are demonstrations of the volcanic phenomenon, a succession of thermal springs in pure state emerge to the surface from the very core of the earth among melt-water streams surrounded by a closed forest with specimen of huge Colihue cane.
