Only 32 kilometers from the City emerge the first foothills with a multicolored mountain range that integrates what is called “Sierra Pintada”. Also in this place the Franciscan order erected a monument to their founder San Francisco de Asis becoming another tourist attraction of the area. Then there is the descent towards El Sosneado, Malargüe and Las Leñas.
