It is located in the apple surrounded by 9 de Julio, Rivadavia, 25 de Mayo and San Martin streets, and was inaugurated on July 9, 1916. Its main statue represents the General San Martin and his sculptor was Luis José Dumas. The pedestal is built in granite brought from Germany and worked in Hamburg, the statue in itself is made of bronze shows how San Martin indicates with his finger the zone where is situated the campsite Las Chacras. As historic outline we find a sprout of the pine of San Lorenzo.
