Going along the Provincial Route # 39, passing Pampa de Tamboreo we arrive at Inti Huasi Cavern. Its name stems from a Quechua voice that means "house of the sun" and is located in a hill of 1710 meters above the sea level that carries its same name. 8,000 years ago, this cavern was inhabited by native nomadic groups that moved seasonally from the high saws to the valleys in order to obtain their food. The important finds of bony pieces and tips of arrows in this cavern permitted an approximation to the Ayampitin culture, descendant of the first inhabitants of our continent.
