Also known as Engineer Antonio Medina Allende Dike; this it is a great reservoir on the bed of Los Sauces River, which construction demanded six years and was finished in 1944.
It is considered the highest dam of South America, with 102 meters. It supplies drinking water, irrigation and generates electric power to the area of Traslasierra. Los Pozos is the point of reference to enter the big wall of the La Viña Dike.
