It is located to the north of Salta province in the border with Bolivia. Sport fishing is one of the most convening activities in this reserve. Large rivers like Bermejo travel through the area and are full of goldfish, surubi, catfish. trout, pacu and shad. For the practice of this sport there are fishing reserves and specialized guides.
Walks in the Northwest area of the Park are carried out that take from two to seven hours. The tours arrive to Cayotal Thermal Springs, Campo Grande, Angosto of Lipeo River and Baritú town in which the ancient customs of its people can be known.
Horse-ridding is another of the activities that are offered without predetermined circuit.
