Palermo is the most extensive district and is divided into several distinct sectors.
It includes 3 de Febrero Park (Palermo´s Woods), the Botanic Gardens, the Zoo, and the Japanese Garden. As a residential area, we can differentiate between Palermo Chico and Palermo Viejo. The former is inhabited by the upper class, who live in mansions and palaces. The latter, is an area of restored houses inhabited by artists and professionals. There is also Palermo Hollywood, which is called so because some television production companies and a TV channel have established there. Its bars and cafés are constantly visited by people of those media.
