Colon is known all over the country for its beaches of clear and smooth sands located near river Uruguay. They are five the beaches that cover around 7 kilometers. To all of them you can access walking from the city center with the exception the islands resort zones you access traveling through beautiful tours in launch or rowboat.
Among them we can emphasize the North Coastal Road, a tour in which the Municipal North Resort is found and which counts on a camping site with all services.
The South Coastal Road is formed by a series of resorts with natural landscapes. In two of them, Playa Nueva -New Beach- and Playa Honda -Deep Beach-, infrastructure for fishing is offered. The others, Piedras Rojas -Red Stones- and Municipal Santiago Inkier, are exclusive for swimming.
Moving away from the city about 20 kilometers we find the Camping-Resort El Viejo Molino -The Old Mill-, which is situated on Urquiza stream and its water stem from natural sides. We find private beaches and adventure tourism operators in Colon Village.
