Regarding school buildings, we find the National School Juan Crisóstomo Lafinur. It is located in San Martin St. #1055 and was inaugurated on May 6, 1868. At present, it is the oldest secondary school of San Luis. In its architecture are emphasized the assembly room, temperate and unique due to its acoustics, the extensive and decorated patio, and its imposing facade carried out in an Italian style of harmonious lines, (Liberty style and applications of Noveau art).
Another school building is Teacher College for Girls "Paula D. Bazán". It is located in the block formed by Junín, Rivadavia and Colon streets; has an imposing construction of ends of the19th century, with a neoclassical Italian style, in which we can find an underground water tank brought of France.
