Over the years, the activity of the town was centered in El Cruce and the area of ports remained as residential place.
The visit to the Village is inspired in places of historic interest that make of this tour a return to the origins of La Angostura. By Nahuel Huapi Boulevard, around 2 kilometers away from El Cruce, is the Chapel Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion, built in 1936 under the management of the architect Alejandro Bustillo. If we go along the boulevard on the left-hand side we will find the entrance to Castle The Messidor, in the same property are located Albergues Del Mesidor belonging to the I.S.S.N (Isntitute of Social Security of Neuquen) , heatlh insurance company of Neuquen Province. On the right hand there is the building where used to be School Nº 104 that dates from 1938 and was transferred in 1975 to its current building in El Once neighborhood. The head mister’s former house is today occupied by the Regional Historic Museum.
In front of the museum we can see the entrance to Angostura Hotel built in 1938. Further on the tour offers us a view of Nahuel Huapi Lake and arriving then to the roundabout in front of which is the building of National Parks, next to the dock of La Angostura Port, on Mansa Bay which is the starting point for lake excursions to Bosque de Arrayanes, and other tours by the lake. Passing the roundabout there, we continue the tour discovering to the right the former building of the Mail, at present occupied by Prefectura Naval Argentina. On the left hand there are beautiful private constructions, and further on, to the left, he is gained access to National Park Los Arrayanes. At the end of Nahuel Huapi Street is the dock of Brava Bay.
