Ii is one of the most important ski centers in South America due to the quality and quantity of its trails and its modern infrastructure. It is located to the south of the province in Malargüe department. This center also operates in summer with adventure tourism activities.
It has 34 kilometers of trails suitable for skiing which reach almost 3500 meters height and a combination of these, offers an uninterrupted descent of kilometers of extension. Twelve chairlifts guarantee the skier an easy access to the trails.
Ski can be performed in dry snow and dust. It also has a great surface for extreme ski, out of the trail.
It counts on a very broad hotel offering that goes from a 5 stars hotel to "dormy houses".

The Winter Center Valle de las Leñas is an example of improvement in security and quality of service to the client. In recent years it invested more than $50 million pesos in the areas of: Maintenance in elevation complying with V3norms of international security; Ski Carpet for children and novices; construction of a new Rental; purchase of steps snows; purchase of snowmaker machines; construction of a plant effluent treatment; infrastructure work of energy and drinking water; purchase of cutting-edge electric generators, which guarantee the self-sufficiency of electric consumption for the whole Valley.
